WHO?
The creative director/founder of Miss Moss, Siobhan O’Brien, is perhaps best known as an Australian journalist and author. In the publishing industry for around fifteen years, Siobhan has been published in most major Australian newspapers and magazines. HOW?
Siobhan has drawn and created things since she knew how. But, the Miss Moss journey started when she dabbled in jewellery design after the birth of her second child. She relished the creativity and got a buzz out of crafting something for people to wear. The business kicked along on a small scale, but it was after the birth of her third child, that this creative endeavour turned into something different. “Miss Moss” expanded to include women’s clothing and other fashion accessories such as bags, belts and scarves; and was titled after a childhood nickname which has stuck for a lifetime. Now, Siobhan continues to design and make many of the pieces in the collection, while she works with closely with fashion designers to devise the rest. Miss Moss is currently available in around a dozen Australian retail outlets, employs a host of manufacturers in Australia and abroad and continues to grow.  Miss Moss is driven by: having fun, being inspired and living life with passion + purpose!
